Antique Tall Case Clock

Listing Description: Early 19th century Pennsylvania case clock. This impressive antique tall case clock stands approximately 99" tall and features a classic bonnet top with turned columns, decorative finials, and a hand-painted dial face with floral accents and landscape scene. The clock retains its original pendulum and internal works and displays strong early American country craftsmanship throughout. A substantial statement piece with wonderful primitive character and authentic age. The painted dial is marked “1753,” likely commemorative rather than indicative of the clock’s actual production date. Rich dark wood tones and simple traditional lines make this an excellent restoration candidate or decorative antique for a period home, collection, or storefront display. Condition Report: Clock is being sold in as-found condition and is currently non-running. Case shows age-related wear throughout including scratches, scuffs, finish wear, small separations, and imperfections consistent with age and use. Painted dial exhibits visible paint loss, crazing, discoloration, and wear. Interior mechanism appears present along with pendulum and chains.
